Terms and Conditions

For courses at Mapstone Studio
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information. Please pay particular attention to the details of each Course prior to booking.
1. General
i. Please ensure that you provide us with full details of any specific
requirements that you may have, e.g. dietary needs, and we will endeavour
to accommodate you. If you have a disability or require additional support
needs please contact us before booking as aspects of some Courses may be
unsuitable due to the nature of the location.
2. Bookings
i. Places on Courses are allocated upon receipt of the Deposit on a first to pay,
first confirmed basis.
3. Course Fees
i. The balance of the Course fee is payable not later than 30 days before the
commencement of the Course. We do not charge VAT on any of our
Courses.
ii. The Course fee includes the cost of materials that will be provided but
please see the specific Course description (or please ask us) for details of
the additional materials or tools that you will need to bring.
iii. The Course fee can be paid by cheque or bank transfer. Cheques should be
made payable to Nina Cairns and posted to Mapstone Studio, Middle
Coombe, Mapstone Hill, Lustleigh, Newton Abbot, TQ13 9SE. Payments by
bank transfer should be submitted to account 50053668 and sort code
30-84-67.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
i. Deposits are non-refundable, except as described below. If you cancel for
any reason:
• If cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the commencement of
the Course you will not be required to pay the balance of the Course
fee. The Deposit will only be refunded if we are able to find a
replacement for you.
• If cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the commencement of
the Course we will use reasonable endeavours to find a replacement. If
we are successful in finding a replacement, we will provide a full refund
of the Deposit, and the balance of the Course fee if applicable. If we
are unsuccessful in finding a replacement, no refund will be provided.
vii. All our Courses have a minimum attendance level and may be cancelled if
too few bookings are received. We reserve the right to cancel any Course at
any time. In the event of cancellation by us, we will provide a full refund of
the Deposit and the Course fee, or partial refund if the Course has already
commenced, e.g. if the tutor or model falls ill.
